Job summary

FIS is seeking a production scheduling professional to plan, schedule, and coordinate manufacturing activities across multiple jobs for clients in our global production network. The role focuses on efficient workflow, SLA adherence, and forecasting workload based on history and client projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 6+ years of training/experience in lieu of degree.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience in work sequencing.
• Typically 6+ years' experience; Lean/Six Sigma exposure preferred.
• Four years of experience maintaining fast-paced production machinery.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment using pneumatic, hydraulic or programmable controls.

Responsibilities

• Model daily production and forecast resourcing requirements to optimize capacity.
• Attend daily scheduling meetings and determine machine workflow assignments.
• Assign and coordinate schedules by department and machine to minimize SLA conflicts.
• Monitor progress to ensure on pace to meet client SLAs.
• Communicate status to leadership and propose practical solutions.
• Analyze processes for cost savings and failure data; recommend improvements.
• Use systems data to advise staffing, overtime, and production efficiency.
