Job summary

Getinge seeks a Production Scheduler to initiate and manage production schedules across product lines in Merrimack, NH. You will coordinate with Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales to optimize the schedule and minimize downtime.

You will run MRP and MPS packages, adapt forecasts to production needs, and monitor performance. This role requires strong communication and planning skills within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Materials Planning or related field.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a production environment.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) are required.

Responsibilities

• Open the lines of communication between Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Sales to determine the best course of action for Production.
• Preside over biweekly production meetings to discuss issues related to the current schedule and resolve any pending issues.
• Run the Visibility MRP package to coordinate the purchase of component parts.
• Run the Visibility MPS package to load the sales forecast and drive the manufacture of finished goods and resources.
• Anticipate problems on the production floor and take corrective, proactive action to avoid downtime.
• Develop part-specific formats from the general sales forecast for the Visibility system.
• Track production performance and report results to management.
• Contribute to the team and assist in special projects as needed.
