Job summary

Protolabs in Nashua, NH is seeking a Planner to coordinate production schedules across multiple facilities, balancing capacity, inventory, and demand to ensure on-time delivery. You will work across Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to optimize workflows.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 8 years of scheduling or 3–5 years planning with ERP, plus strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Tech, Engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of scheduling experience or 3–5 years planning with ERP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with RFQ and multi-material/supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Schedule orders across multiple plants to meet dates and capacity.
• Maintain lead times and flag issues affecting delivery.
• Manage production schedule to expedite orders on time.
• Check inventory levels and communicate with Purchasing.
• Collaborate with Engineering to define work centers for production.
• Coordinate with Customer Service on order scheduling.
• Improve scheduling processes with the development team.
• Propose and implement efficiency improvements.
