Job summary

Generac is seeking a Production Planning professional to develop and maintain the master production schedule for multiple product groups. You will evaluate demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability to ensure on-time delivery and optimal service levels.

You will collaborate with operations, procurement, finance, and product teams to align plans with customer demand and business goals. Strong MRP, planning, and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of production planning, master scheduling, or related supply chain planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, SIOP/IBP, capacity and inventory planning.
• Ability to analyze demand, supply, and capacity data and present actionable options.
• Experience collaborating across operations, procurement, finance, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains the master production schedule for assigned value streams.
• Reviews demand, inventory, capacity, and material availability to resolve imbalances.
• Supports monthly SIOP/IBP preparation with scenario planning and risk analysis.
• Partners with plant operations, materials, procurement, logistics, and finance to align plans with demand.
• Monitors schedule attainment, forecast consumption, safety stock, and MRP outputs.
• Prepares planning reports and dashboards for leadership and partners.
