Job summary

Global Power Components seeks a Production Planner to manage demand planning for high-volume parts and align production with machine capacities. You will work onsite at our Milwaukee-area facilities, coordinating with production, procurement, quality, and logistics to optimize schedules.

The role requires strong communication, analytical mindset, and attention to detail. A relevant degree or commensurate experience is preferred; you will be supported with training and tools to succeed.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Excel features.

Responsibilities

• Compile master production schedule from multiple sources.
• Improve communication and scheduling processes.
• Increase visibility of information to plant stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and report in the master schedule.
• Coordinate flow of work and materials between departments.
• Evaluate make-to-stock inventory and its impact on downstream production.
• Track status on high-profile jobs for timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, and Logistics to align production with constraints.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Report to Operations Manager within Production Control.
• Demonstrate analytical mindset and distill data for supervisors.
• Show astute attention to detail and teamwork.
