Job summary

Power Test, LLC in Sussex, Wisconsin seeks a Production Planner to develop, manage, and optimize production schedules that meet customer demand while balancing capacity, materials, and cost efficiency.

You will translate sales orders and forecasts into detailed work orders and shop-floor releases, collaborate with procurement, operations, and engineering, and drive continuous improvement through KPIs such as on-time delivery and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, SYSPRO, Visual, or similar) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and publish master production schedules aligned with customer orders, forecasts, and capacity.
• Translate sales orders and demand forecasts into detailed work orders and shop floor release schedules.
• Sequence and prioritize production runs to minimize changeover time and optimize throughput.
• Adjust schedules in real time to respond to downtime, shortages, or demand changes.
