Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a seasoned production planning professional to ensure on-time customer service and optimal inventory. You will manage master production schedules, coordinate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and others to keep materials flowing efficiently and to meet production requirements.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement across a complex aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of related experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; CPIM exam completion preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP theory and manufacturing resource planning systems.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement methods and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Determine production priorities by studying master production schedule and customer requirements.
• Advise management on status of work in progress, material availability, and potential problems.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure smooth flow of materials through production.
• Prepare work orders and purchase requests to support the master production schedule.
• Maintain configuration control on all open orders and related data files.
