Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Ogden, UT seeks an experienced Planner to ensure the master production schedule aligns with customer service goals, inventory targets, and configuration control. You will plan materials, issue schedules, and coordinate with internal teams to keep production flowing on time.

The role requires coordinating with QA, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Shipping to resolve shortages, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in inventory and production control.
• Bachelor degree required, preferably in business, engineering, or materials management.
• APICS certification in supply chain management preferred.
• Knowledge of MRPII/ERP concepts and manufacturing planning processes.
• Proficient with common business apps and data analysis for planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintains master production schedules and item master data.
• Advises management on material availability and production risk.
• Prepares work orders for components to support the master schedule.
• Coordinates material movements and expedites parts to meet dates.
• Monitors inventory usage, scraps, and causes of variances.
• Ensures configuration control on orders and data files.
• Collaborates with QA, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Shipping.
