Job summary

STR's Signals Exploitation and Tracking (SET) Group seeks a Principal Product Lead to craft and execute a strategic product plan for SET capabilities supporting DoD and IC missions. You will collaborate with SET leadership to drive development, testing, and demonstrations aligning with government opportunities, while balancing short-term goals with long-term needs.

Qualifications

• MS with at least 15 years of experience, and/or PhD with at least 10 years in applied math, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or data science.
• Experience with sensing systems, data analytics, and DevOps software processes
• Experience leading system and technology development teams
• Experience spanning all product development phases, from ideation to technology research and product development
• Proven ability to lead moderate to large engineering teams (10-40 engineers) through complete Agile development lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience working with internal leadership and external customers in technology and system development programs
• US citizen with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Even Better: US government security clearance; Experience with Space Systems and intelligence products; DoD and IC missions knowledge; entrepreneurial marketing and business development

Responsibilities

• Craft, drive, and execute a product development and marketing strategy for SET capabilities.
• Integrate, test, and demonstrate SET capabilities for new opportunities and offerings.
• Shape product development backlogs with customers and SET capability owners.
• Support architecture and design reviews as part of an Agile process.
• Lead technology product development focused on advanced algorithms and software for IC and DoD.
