Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Senior Manager, Sourcing - Produce to lead contract creation and execution for Fruit and Vegetable categories, guiding launches to the field and assortment strategy. The role collaborates with internal Sysco teams and sales partners to drive customer service excellence aligned with Sysco’s priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 years Food Service or Retail Produce purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and research leads within assigned category.
• Develop the program and prepare the Produce Proposal Agreement.
• Establishment of programmed price lists/inventory guides (OIC).
• Coordinate in-service education and training to ensure proper product ordering, handling, and utilization.
• Monthly sales summaries and purchase recaps.
• Development of innovative products for marketing through operating companies and end-user customers.
