Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Sr Manager, Sourcing Produce to create and manage contracts for Fruit and Vegetable categories, oversee launches to field, and align assortment strategy with insights and internal partners.

In this role, you will drive the PGM process with cross-functional teams and ensure decisions focus on customer service excellence and Sysco’s strategic priorities, participating in travel up to 10% for conventions and supplier visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 years Food Service or Retail Produce purchasing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and research leads within assigned category and develop program plans.
• Prepare Produce Proposal Agreements with cost and sell parameters.
• Coordinate with operating companies for input and approval and communicate signed agreements.
• Organize customer presentations, product education, and cross-functional reviews to monitor performance.
