Job summary

Sysco Arizona is seeking an Inventory Planner to drive replenishment and optimize stock levels across 2,300–4,000 SKUs vendor direct and 3,500+ redistributed lines weekly.

You will partner with merchandising, logistics and inbound planning to reduce spoilage, boost on-shelf availability, and improve DSO through data‑driven purchasing. Must have 3+ years in inventory management or purchasing and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory management/purchasing experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
• Proficient Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in retail/wholesale/distribution environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing service levels.
• Manage DSO, aged, obsolete inventory and shrink.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers and other functions.
• Utilize DPR to drive replenishment performance and KPIs.
• Handle POs, pricing and quantity verification; resolve issues.
