Job summary

FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc. in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional to coordinate planning, purchasing, supplier management and inventory for the Santa Clara site.

You will support production and engineering, manage suppliers, and ensure quality, delivery and cost objectives are met. The role requires strong negotiation, organizational and interpersonal skills, plus experience with ERP/MRP systems and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with related experience or equivalent work experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and purchasing of parts for production and prototypes.
• Manage commodities and suppliers to ensure material availability.
• Analyze inventory, usage, forecasts, lead times and requirements.
• Develop procurement metrics: OTD, open orders, inventory, etc.
• Create POs and review quotations, lead times, MOQs and terms.
• Monitor open POs, follow up on past-due orders and risks.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders on discrepancies.
• Negotiate with vendors for pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Maintain supplier relationships and performance.
• Support supplier onboarding and CARs/ contracts as needed.
• Identify cost savings and process improvements; prepare procurement reports.
