Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Strong supplier negotiation skills and communication abilities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and purchasing of parts for production and prototypes.
• Manage assigned commodities and suppliers to ensure timely materials and optimal inventory.
• Analyze inventory levels, usage, forecasts, lead times and business needs for procurement decisions.
• Develop and sustain procurement metrics (OTD, open orders, etc.).
• Prepare purchase requisitions and orders; review supplier quotations and terms.
• Monitor open POs and supplier commitments; address delays and risks.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders on discrepancies.
• Negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Support supplier onboarding and CARs; assist with contracts and procurement activities.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes and drive timely resolutions.
• Identify cost savings and process improvements within assigned commodities.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyses for Finance and Operations.
• Support inventory management activities and reporting.
