Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of purchasing experience preferably in industrial environment.
• Proficient in Oracle Financials Procurement Module is preferred, but similar ERP experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to accurately apply and use financial and accounting concepts.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, financial reports and legal documents.
• Ability to effectively present information, communicate with, and respond to questions and complaints from co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures, respecting quantity, quality, and timing.
• Manage entire procurement life cycle from start to finish for assigned spend categories, by evaluating suppliers, handling sourcing, negotiations, issuing of purchase orders, and contract administration.
• Evaluates proposals and communicates proposals with potential suppliers and requestors.
• Ensure suppliers comply with PO or Master Service Agreement terms and conditions.
• Supports user in purchase request scope definition when needed.
• Perform rate analysis/negotiation and compliance oversight.
• Coordinate with Finance Department to ensure suppliers are paid on time.
• Maintains good working relations, acts professionally and positively represents The Company.
• Participates in relevant and mandatory training as assigned, conducts formal and informal user training on company P2P process.
