BWC Terminal Holdings LLC, based in Houston, Texas, seeks a Procurement Specialist to manage purchase of materials and services across its bulk liquid storage network. You will analyze costs, negotiate contracts, and oversee the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to PO issuance and contract administration.

Responsibilities include supplier evaluation, rate analysis, and coordinating with Finance to ensure timely payments while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree is required in Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of purchasing experience preferably in industrial environment.
• Proficient with Oracle Financials Procurement Module is preferred, but similar ERP experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply and use financial concepts.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret business, technical, regulatory and financial documents.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from co-workers and management.
• Internal customer service focus and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer software (Excel, Word, Oracle, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Ability to solve problems and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers high quality purchasing services on a day-to-day basis according to defined procedures.
• Manage procurement life cycle from start to finish for assigned spend categories, including supplier evaluation, sourcing, negotiations, PO issuance, and contract administration.
• Evaluates proposals and communicates proposals with potential suppliers and requestors.
• Ensure suppliers comply with PO or Master Service Agreement terms and conditions.
• Supports user in purchase request scope definition when needed.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely supplier payments.
