Job summary

Brown Tank LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage all commodities and services across project lifecycles, securing long-term quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and sustainability. You will assist the Procurement Manager with supplier relationships, coordinate with receiving and AP, and develop supplier strategies that meet internal and external demands, while tracking KPI-based performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or construction management.
• 2–3 years of material purchasing experience.
• Experience with metals, machining, welding and MRO.
• Experience in high mix/low volume manufacturing/fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Procurement Manager with supplier relationships to meet cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability targets.
• Coordinate with receiving to ensure material is received.
• Work with AP to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Develop and manage supplier strategies aligned with engineering and project management.
• Develop supplier performance metrics for quality, delivery, and cost.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers as needed.
• Analyze demand, spend, cost and market data to optimize product cost.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, finance, manufacturing, safety, and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery.
