Job summary

Analytical Services & Materials, Inc. seeks a Procurement Specialist to support the NASA Langley CM0E maintenance operations, reporting to the Subcontracts Manager. The role focuses on purchasing products and services, evaluating proposals and coordinating between vendors and the requesting department.

Required are U.S. citizenship, 6 years of relevant experience, and strong MS Office skills. Candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Six years of progressive and relevant purchasing experience or business office management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Good oral and written communication skills and analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Purchase products and services (COTS, non-numbered/high tech or custom) within approved thresholds.
• Analyze vendor proposals, pricing, discounts and delivery dates.
• Coordinate between vendor sources and requesting department/source.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation (contracts, PO, vendor forms, T&Cs, certifications, deliverables).
