Amentum is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the CMOE at NASA Langley Research Center. You will perform purchasing, vendor management, and documentation tasks under the Subcontracts Manager and ensure compliance with safety policies.

Requirements include US citizenship, 6+ years in purchasing or related fields, and strong MS Office skills. The role involves travel and an office environment with potential exposure to hazards; wage scale info is provided in the posting.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Six years of progressive experience in purchasing/material acquisition or business office management; degree/substitution allowed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; good oral and written communication; analytical capability.

Responsibilities

• Purchase products and services within approved thresholds (may include COTS, non-numbered/high-tech, or custom products).
• Establish competition for purchasing.
• Maintain vendor source database.
• Analyze vendor proposals, pricing, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate between vendor sources and requesting department.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation (vendor info, purchase orders, subcontracts, specs, terms and conditions, certifications, deliverables).
• Monitor delivery for conformance to PO/Subcontract.
• Invoice subcontractor certified payrolls and related files from cradle to grave.
