Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a procurement professional to source and negotiate for machinery, equipment, raw materials, and services needed for operations. The role involves analyzing price trends, supplier performance, and ensuring timely deliveries within cost and quality targets.

Responsibilities include preparing RFPs, negotiating terms, and maintaining supplier records while leveraging LM acquisition procedures (LMAP) and familiarizing with FAR/DFARs.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in procurement or acquisition.
• Ability to conduct data analysis and negotiations.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Creative problem solver with critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience managing simple to moderate subcontracts.
• Familiar with FAR/DFARs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sources, negotiates and purchases machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies for operation.
• Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, and ensures on-time delivery.
