The role includes managing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement in procurement processes while upholding governance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent at university and 6 or more years of Supply Chain experience.
• Experience in planning, purchasing and material optimization.
• Experience working in a procurement, supply chain, planning, material management position.
• Entry level candidates may have prior experience in commodity specific work fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an understanding of the technical specifications of products and services procured with engineering input.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure accurate specifications and delivery dates.
• Source requested parts/services to required specs and communicate delivery needs.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders and communicate updates to branches and suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and supplier relationship management.
