W&T Offshore, Inc. seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to support procurement activities, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and inventory management in a predominantly oil and gas environment.

The role involves coordinating with Operations/Technical teams and ensuring ERP system integrity. The position requires extensive buying experience, offshore familiarity, and strong budgeting/contracting knowledge, with proficiency in ProcureIT and GEP projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive buying/purchasing experience in Oil & Gas or related business.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Familiarity with E&P Industry field operations (preferably offshore).
• Demonstrated aptitude in business management processes (budgeting, accounting, commercial contracting).
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (primarily MS Excel and MS Word), required.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and evaluate bids from vendors/contractors; select via objective criteria.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory records and Ad Valorem tax values.
• Facilitate and process material transfers.
• Develop and execute a procurement plan for services and capital equipment.
• Provide order request coding support to Operations/Technical staff as required.
• Function as a Buyer in ProcureIT ERP system.
• Support ProcureIT catalog uploads and maintenance.
• Assist ERP system training, testing, and manual development/publishing.
• Ensure valid codes for interface into accounting for payments.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to clear rejected items/exceptions.
• Assist in the ProcureIT replacement project (GEP).
• Additional duties as assigned.
