Job summary

LHH in New York City is seeking a strategic and hands-on Procurement Manager to lead purchasing operations, supplier management, and sourcing initiatives within a fast-growing food distribution company. You will oversee a team of procurement professionals and partner with executive leadership to drive inventory performance and supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement or supply chain, a Bachelor's in a related field, experience with ERP and AI procurement tools,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management experience.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams.
• Experience in food/consumer products distribution or manufacturing with expiration date management/perishables.
• Experience with ERP and AI procurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals.
• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
• Drive procurement strategy to support growth and objectives.
• Utilize ERP systems and AI tools to manage purchasing workflows and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements in procurement operations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams for forecasting andInventory planning.
