Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead our procurement team and own our negotiation strategy across software, services, and facilities. This hands-on leadership role combines coaching a team with direct negotiations and providing visibility to finance and executives.

You will build an end-to-end operating system for intake SLAs, escalation paths, and playbooks, while partnering with budget holders to drive efficient supplier spend and compliant vendor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Track record of negotiating contracts across software/SaaS, professional services, facilities.
• Hands-on with procure-to-pay systems.
• Strong cross-functional influence with budget holders.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team with clear growth plans.
• Build the operating system for intake SLAs, negotiation playbooks, and escalation paths.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape negotiation strategy for new spend and renewals.
• Own procurement policy, approval thresholds, and vendor onboarding and due diligence.
• Develop SOX controls and audit requirements related to procurement and spend controls.
