Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead and optimize procurement for CSS Material and Electronic Systems suppliers. Located in New Brunswick, NJ, the role drives strategy, supplier relationships, and R&D support to accelerate EP/NV growth within a regulated MedTech environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation and leadership abilities, and experience managing significant supplier contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years in procurement with 4 years in components/raw materials.
• Experience with Electrophysiology-related components.
• Proven track record in strategic procurement within manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-contract management skills.
• Ability to engage with senior leadership and within J&J.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies to meet organizational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to align with quality and business objectives.
• Lead contract and pricing negotiations with risk and regulatory compliance in mind.
• Monitor spend and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Identify innovative suppliers for new product development (NPD).
• Collaborate with EM Make, R&D, VSL, Engineering, QA, Finance to align strategy.
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed on trends and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team.
