Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Six+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations, Quality, R&D or Engineering.
• Experience in Medical Devices or related industry.
• Excellent negotiating skills and should-cost modeling experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of developing sourcing strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to engage at leadership level with Suppliers and within J&J.
• Strong business acumen and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Value Stream Leaders to understand business strategy and develop long-term sourcing strategy to improve supply reliability and optimize material costs.
• Lead Market Engagement Programs for competitive bidding, NPI supplier selection, and category spend areas.
• Coordinate category/supplier management and drive the strategic and business plan with cross-functional teams.
• Support multiple strategic sourcing initiatives across products, categories, and geographies.
• Communicate business issues or opportunities to senior management.
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and ensure stabilized contracts and suppliers for base business sourcing teams.
• Lead due diligence and transaction support for biosense/BD activities.
• Drive quality, reliability, innovation, and cost through early supplier engagement.
• Identify external partner capabilities to meet future technology needs.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices and company policies.
