Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced procurement leader to manage the procurement team, establish performance metrics, and ensure FAR/DFAR-compliant purchasing. You will work with stakeholders to clarify scope of supply and define the statement of work, while overseeing supplier negotiations and performance management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) and 7–10+ years of relevant experience, plus U.S. citizenship or export eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with extensive relevant experience.
• 10+ years of procurement experience required; 7+ years with advanced degree.
• U.S. Person or eligible for export authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement team and establish performance metrics.
• Ensure proper issuing of POs with FAR/DFAR compliance.
• Define scope of supply and SOW with stakeholders and SMEs.
• Oversee supplier engagements, negotiations, and performance management.
• Ensure approvals are in place before PO release.
• Address risks and conflicts with supplier terms.
