Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager in California to lead a team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing outsourced service providers. You will help develop and execute sourcing strategies for the organization and its clients.

You will oversee staff performance, coordinate daily activities, and ensure timely delivery of procurement goals. Strong collaboration with stakeholders and knowledge of contracts are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience and education will be considered.
• C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or NACM certifications preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and oversee recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities and cross-train staff.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and procurement documents.
• Review contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals for changes reported to management.
• Manage supplier and contractor certification; visit supplier locations to review performance.
• Mentor and educate on outsourcing practices and value delivery.
• Analyze spend, suppliers, and statements of work to identify value opportunities.
• Assist with creating RTFs, selecting solutions, and maintaining contracts with providers.
