Job summary

CBRE in Charleston, SC is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead a team responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing outsourced service providers. You’ll guide account teams on contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and issue resolution to align with client objectives.

You will develop end-to-end sourcing strategies, draft and review contracts, oversee supplier certification, and manage lifecycle activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or NACM certifications preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching and performance management preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and handle problems.
• Strong leadership to motivate team impact on quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to account teams in areas of contract negotiations, vendor relationships, invoice disputes, escalations, and other procurement-related matters.
• Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for outsourced services, ensuring alignment with client or departmental objectives.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and associated business documents in support of the purchase of goods and services.
• Manage the end-to-end supplier and contractor certification process, including periodic reviews of vendor performance and compliance.
• Lead contract lifecycle management activities—terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals—ensuring compliance with standards and legal requirements.
• Analyze spend data, supplier performance metrics, and service scopes to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Provide SME on outsourcing practices and their strategic value.
• Lead/support RFP development and solution selection processes.
• Navigate complex, high-pressure situations with sound judgment and adaptability.
• Drive success as measured by cost savings, supplier performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
