Job summary

CBRE procurement leadership role in Sunnyvale seeks to manage sourcing, negotiation, and outsourced service providers. You will help develop and execute sourcing strategies with stakeholders and ensure compliant contracts.

Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 3–5 years’ experience; C.P.M., CPSM or NACM certifications preferred. Strong leadership, MS Office skills, and analytical abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility preferred.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and handle problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; establish work schedules and cross-train staff.
• Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts for goods and services.
• Review contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals; inform management of changes.
• Manage supplier and contractor certification; conduct site visits to review vendor performance.
• Mentor and educate on outsourcing practices and value of CBRE approaches.
• Analyze facility management spend, suppliers, operations, and statements of work to identify value opportunities.
• Assist with creating RTFs, selecting solutions, and negotiating; maintain contracts with national/ regional providers.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values; navigate sensitive issues.
• Apply domain knowledge to achieve team objectives and resolve day-to-day issues.
