Zusammenfassung

Accenture Construct seeks a seasoned procurement professional to lead OFCI activities for hyperscale data center projects. You will coordinate vendors, manage schedules, and align procurement with design and construction milestones to ensure reliable delivery.

In this role you will work with engineers, construction managers, and OEMs while overseeing bid processes, RFIs/RFPs, and closeout documentation to support seamless handover to operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, construction management, or real estate development, including at least 2 years supporting OFCI procurement for data centers or similar mission-critical facilities.
• Familiarity with vendor coordination, equipment sourcing, and basic procurement processes for electrical and mechanical infrastructure in hyperscale or colocation settings.
• Basic knowledge of long-lead mission-critical components and their role in commissioning and integration.
• Ability to review technical specifications, design documents, vendor proposals, and procurement schedules.
• Organized, attentive to detail, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with internal teams, contractors, and OEMs.
• Experience supporting procurement schedules, reporting, and tracking tools for data center projects.

Aufgaben

• Manage OFCI procurement for owner-furnished equipment on data center projects, ensuring design compatibility, timelines, and performance goals.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, OEMs, distributors, and specialty suppliers for critical infrastructure like generators, chillers, UPS, PDUs, CRACs, switchgear, and high-voltage equipment.
• Track production schedules, shipping milestones, and on-site delivery coordination with construction managers and trade contractors.
• Create bid and leveling packages for OFCI equipment, focusing on logistics, warranty terms, lead times, total cost, and commissioning requirements.
• Assist in competitive sourcing for OFCI packages: draft RFIs/RFPs, handle vendor inquiries, review proposals, and compile summaries for stakeholders.
• Outline technical and performance requirements for OFCI packages; aid engineers in preparing vendor scoping documentation.
• Collaborate with construction, design, and development teams to align OFCI procurement with project timelines and construction phases.
• Participate in scope review discussions and vendor negotiations to ensure contracts meet reliability, uptime, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor procurement progress across projects, including commitments, cost impacts, change orders, and remaining exposure.
• Stay updated on supply chain trends for power and cooling equipment; identify risks to pricing or schedules and propose solutions.
• Assist in resolving equipment-related issues like delays or commissioning challenges and escalate vendor performance concerns as needed.
• Help prepare closeout documentation and warranty onboarding for OFCI assets for a smooth handover to operations.
