Job summary

APM Terminals Panama seeks a professional to manage the performance of strategic suppliers through periodic evaluations, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans in a dynamic, international workspace.

You will identify and implement cost optimization initiatives, prepare analyses and executive reports for decision‑makers, and train suppliers on the Supplier Registry works, ensuring accurate information flow and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, International Business, or related fields.
• Experience: At least one year in similar positions handling large volumes of information.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and INCOTERMS.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Lean / continuous improvement mindset; strong written and verbal English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic suppliers via periodic evaluations, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans.
• Identify and implement cost optimization initiatives and prepare executive reports to support decision-making.
• Manage and train suppliers on how the Supplier Registry works.
• Verify and review in the system the receipt of information and documentation submitted by interested parties, then forward it for analysis and reporting.
