Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group, a leading AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure company, is seeking a Category Lead for Construction Services and Operations in the Central & West US regions (Rockdale, TX; Reno, NV; Wenatchee, WA; Texas sites). You will bridge engineering requirements with commercial execution to ensure timely, on-budget procurement of high-value equipment and services.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement or related analytics, a BS/MS in a relevant field, and strong Excel;

Qualifications

• Education: BS/MS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or similar field.
• Experience: 3–5 years in procurement, supply chain, or a related analytical role (Finance/Operations).
• Professional presence: Requires strong personality for challenging confrontational situations.
• Technical savvy: Ability to read a BOM and understand critical infrastructure components (e.g., UPS vs. PDU).
• Analytical tools: Advanced Excel; SQL or Tableau is a significant advantage in tech-first companies.
• Location: Local to Central Texas (Rockdale / Austin area); regular travel to Rockdale, TX and periodic travel to Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive, TCO-driven sourcing strategies.
• Lead or participate in bidding, negotiations and contract management.
• Manage cross-functional relationships to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize specifications/requirements.
• Independently lead the RFP process, vendor identification, bid leveling, and comparisons.
• Draft and negotiate SOWs and Amendments aligned with MSAs.
• Serve as procurement contact for sites; attend project reviews and coordinate with site teams.
• Oversee requisition-to-purchase in the system and manage procure-to-pay processes.
• Maintain sourcing records and cradle-to-grave order closure.
