Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, construction management, or finance
• 10+ years in procurement, sourcing, or contract management
• 5+ years leading procurement teams and strategic supplier relationships
• Experience with large-scale utility, transmission, substation, renewable energy, industrial, or EPC projects
• Legal training on commercial matters preferred
• Proven success negotiating complex commercial agreements and leading procurement organizations

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for major projects and company-wide sourcing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain contract templates as needed company-wide and project specific.
• Resolve contract escalations or disputed issues.
• Lead procurement planning, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and commercial management activities.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Provide procurement leadership during project planning, estimating, and execution phases.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain, commercial, and project execution risks.
• Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Project Directors and Operations Leaders to ensure alignment between procurement activities and project objectives.
• Oversee procurement governance, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capacity, and material pricing to support informed decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement and supply chain personnel.
• Track and report key procurement metrics, savings initiatives, and supplier performance.
• Support business growth through strategic sourcing, supplier development, and procurement best practices.
