Job summary

MasTec's Clean Energy & Infrastructure segment seeks a Director of Operations - Electrical to lead day-to-day project operations across the Business Unit. You will supervise Electrical Superintendents, manage budgets, staffing, safety, quality, and procurement, and maintain P&L responsibility for multi-project portfolios.

This role demands extensive construction management experience on mid-to-large scale projects, strong contract, change order, and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• A four-year construction, engineering or related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.
• Extensive (ten+ years) experience in construction, design, finance and management.
• Experience with General Contracting/Construction Management on mid-to-large projects.
• State Electrical Contractor License or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop operations plan and direct overall activities to achieve project objectives.
• Budgeting, planning, staffing, safety, quality, and procurement oversight.
• Direct project activities to optimize use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.
• Oversee multiple projects $20 million+.
• Build client relationships, manage contracts and change orders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity across divisions.
