Teledyne Energetics in Tracy, CA is seeking a Purchasing/Materials Planner to support production continuity by issuing purchase orders, tracking orders, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The role ensures on-time delivery and accurate records across purchasing, inventory, and planning functions.

You will collaborate with Operations, Production, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Finance, and Shipping to meet customer needs, manage supplier relationships, and support process

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and ERP systems preferred.
• Strong communication and Excel skills.

Responsabilités

• Issue and manage purchase orders for materials, components, supplies, and services.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier pricing, lead times, availability, specifications, and delivery commitments.
• Track open orders, expedite deliveries, and resolve shortages, late deliveries, order changes, substitutions, and invoice discrepancies.
• Review purchase requisitions and maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, inventory, quotation, and order records.
• Provide customer order status, delivery, product availability, and schedule updates.
• Assist with quotations, sales order entry, order changes, expedites, and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Production, Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Finance, and Shipping to meet business and customer needs.
• Support audits, documentation requests, and process improvements involving purchasing, inventory, planning, and order fulfillment.
