Job summary

Teledyne Energy Systems, Inc. in Maryland is seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling professional to drive manufacturing execution from order release to fulfillment.

You will own the material plan, coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing and Program Management, and ensure on-time delivery in a high-reliability environment. You will monitor MRP signals, maintain master data, and optimize lead times, safety stock and reorder points while adhering to AS9100/ISO9001 requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of Planning / Scheduling experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially Item Masters, Bills of Materials, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Orders, and Revision Control.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of MRP planning logic and scheduling parameters.
• Proactive approach to solving scheduling challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple departments to understand business requirements and manage critical paths.
• Plan and schedule fabrication, assembly, installation, and manufacturing orders.
• Own and maintain material master data, lead times, safety stock, reorder points.
• Review MRP messages daily to prevent shortages and support procurement.
• Manage engineering change notices as they relate to orders.
• Evaluate suppliers on price, quality, and lead times.
• Monitor supplier delivery schedules and coordinate mitigation steps.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for goods and services.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve material and production constraints.
• Ensure planning processes comply with AS9100 / ISO9001.
