Job summary

CRRC Sifang America in Chicago coordinates procurement and distribution of materials, parts, equipment, and supplies for the organization by performing duties that support adherence to purchasing strategies and goals. The role includes crafting RFIs/RFPs and managing supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery and quality within negotiated prices.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in procurement or supply chain, strong Excel and Word skills, ERP/SAP experience, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• Three to five years previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Three to five years’ experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all activities related to procurement from intent to purchase through delivery.
• Advises team on appropriate suppliers and negotiates cost
• Implements purchase contracts compliant with regulations
• Maintains records and coordinates distribution cost-effectively
• Works with finance and warehouse teams to ensure procurement-to-payment process
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues as needed
