Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Public purchasing knowledge and Kentucky Model Procurement Code familiarity.
• Experience with Workday, strategic sourcing and punchout systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage supplier procurement contracts under SOP guidelines.
• Conduct quarterly/annual supplier reviews including spend analysis.
• Develop contractor base and solicit/contract via bid, quote, or RFP.
• Evaluate bid responses for statutory compliance and document outcomes.
• Prepare bids, sole sources, MOAs, and various agreements.
• Maintain professional correspondence and archive records.
• Liaise with Procurement Services, departments, agencies and suppliers.
• Provide training sessions for campus end users and assist on projects.
• Review state statutes for potential operational impact and update workflows.
• Review requisitions and purchase orders in Workday; support e-procurement changes.
