Qualifications

• Public purchasing experience and knowledge of Kentucky Model Procurement Code a plus.

• Ability to negotiate and resolve problems independently.
• Experience with Workday, Strategic Sourcing, and punchout ordering systems.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage supplier procurement contracts under SOP guidelines.
• Conduct quarterly/annual supplier reviews including spend analysis and compliance.
• Audit as necessary and develop contractor base.
• Solicit and contract via bid, quote, RFP processes; evaluate responses for compliance.
• Prepare bids, sole sources, MOAs and various agreements; compose professional correspondence.
• Assist with requisitions, purchase orders, and Workday transactions; support e-procurement changes.
