Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field.
Four+ years purchasing experience.
Public purchasing experience, incl. knowledge of Kentucky Model Procurement Code.

Responsibilities

Create and manage supplier procurement contracts under SOP guidelines.
Conduct supplier reviews including spend analysis and supplier compliance.
Identify departmental and university needs for contractual requirements; solicit and contract via bid, quote, RFP.
Compose bids, sole sources, MOAs, and other agreements; archive communications.
Liaise between Procurement Services, departments, state agencies and suppliers; provide training.
Review requisitions, POs, approve transactions for assigned commodities in Workday.
Assist in e-procurement changes or upgrades; participate in meetings with stakeholders.
Champion university direction with integrity and professionalism.
