Zusammenfassung

The State University of New York is seeking Contract Managers in Albany, NY to oversee a broad portfolio of SUNY System Administration contracts. You will negotiate and prepare RFPs, RFQs, and related procurement documents, ensuring compliance with NYS laws and SUNY policies.

This role requires coordinating with state agencies and managing the contract lifecycle end-to-end. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree or an Associate's with procurement experience, strong communication and analytical

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, supply chain management, business, or related field.
• Or Associate's degree with 2 years of procurement and category management experience.
• Experience in SUNY, higher education, or New York government procurement preferred.
• Strong written, negotiation, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of SUNY System Administration and System-wide contracts; oversee the entire contract lifecycle.
• Develop RFPs, IFBs, RFQs, RFIs, single and sole source requests, evaluation instruments, and other documentation.
• Perform market research and data analysis in potential contract categories.
• Serve as a procurement liaison and provide guidance, technical assistance, and training to campuses.
• Evaluate bids to determine awards and complete procurement records.
• Perform contract management tasks including vendor performance and modifications.
• Review contracts for fiscal accuracy and policy compliance.
• Develop procurement templates and advise on policy improvements.
• Coordinate with OAG, OSC, OGS, and OITS during contracting and approvals.
