Job summary

The Contract Administrator at Thisiscny will report to the Director of Contracts and Campus Purchasing and handle contracting for SUNY and NYS-regulated services across campus and hospital operations in Syracuse.

You will draft contracts, prepare IFB/RFP specs, manage the end-to-end procurement process, perform cost analyses, and coordinate with Counsel, SUCF, and state agencies to ensure compliant, timely awards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and advanced PC/MS Office skills required.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and one year of relevant business experience may be considered for an Assistant Contracts Administrator (SL2) at a commensurate salary.

Responsibilities

• Draft contracts and prepare procurement documentation in collaboration with campus/hospital departments.
• Research, develop and prepare IFB or RFP specifications.
• Lead end-to-end procurement processes and monitor approvals and vendor information.
• Perform cost analyses and bid evaluations; negotiate contract services.
• Record, track and renew contracts; monitor encumbrances and expenditures; liaise with SUNY and state agencies.
