Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking a Purchaser to manage sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost containment for an on-site Seattle operation with some remote Fridays. You’ll build key supplier relationships, analyze spend, and ensure timely delivery while supporting company goals.

Required are a related degree and Excel expertise, with CPSM/SAP experience as preferred credentials. This role offers a strong benefits package and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel.
• SAP S4/HANA knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies nomenclature and specs of purchase requests.
• Negotiates with suppliers for pricing and delivery dates.
• Processes purchase orders and tracks spend data.
• Partners with Shipping and AP to optimize procure-to-pay.
• Develops supplier relationships and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to meet business goals.
