OpenKrill is seeking a Strategic Sourcing/Purchasing Manager for a remote role. You will support the Deal Desk, negotiate pricing with manufacturers, and secure project discounts while coordinating with sales and purchasing teams.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years buying experience in commercial kitchen equipment, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple opportunities with remote communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years buying, purchasing, or project-pricing experience in foodservice equipment.
• Experience negotiating manufacturer discounts and special pricing.
• Knowledge of equipment categories and manufacturer networks.
• Understanding of credit eligibility, registrations, and documentation.
• Strong communication and negotiation, including phone and email outreach.
• Ability to present opportunities and timelines clearly for pricing requests.
• Familiarity with dealer costs, margins, and profitability.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and purchasing/ERP/CRM systems.
• Excellent organization and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsabilités

• Review sales opportunities with Deal Desk Manager to identify pricing support.
• Gather specs, quantities, timelines, and details for pricing requests.
• Proactively contact manufacturers to negotiate discounts and credits.
• Identify programs and complete registrations and credit requests on deadlines.
• Negotiate pricing within guidelines; escalate complex cases.
• Maintain manufacturer relationships with accurate information and follow-through.
• Track open requests and meet quotation deadlines.
• Document pricing, credits, and eligibility in records.
• Communicate approvals and conditions to sales and purchasing.
• Coordinate with purchasing and accounting to ensure discounts and credits are applied.
• Maintain opportunity records and report on pricing improvements and turnaround times.
• Stay informed on pricing programs and propose process improvements.
