Job summary

Gexpro Services in Irving, TX, is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement for assigned sites and customer accounts, review replenishment needs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure in-stock levels.

You will review POs, monitor metrics like turns and fill rates, and help optimize cost through supplier leverage and data accuracy. The role includes onboarding new accounts and ongoing supplier negotiations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years procurement/supply chain experience in industrial distribution or related field.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems; advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure and replenish stock for assigned sites and customer accounts.
• Review critical items daily and address backorders and stock requests.
• Meet or exceed inventory metrics (turns, days on hand, etc.).
• Meet procurement metrics (planned order aging, fill rate, PO confirmations).
• Ensure replenishment master data accuracy (lead-time, forecasting, pack multipliers).
• Provide weekly inventory estimates and support onboarding of new accounts.
• Assist supplier returns negotiations and supplier reviews; support NPI processes.
