Job summary

TruStage is seeking a privacy compliance professional to consult across the company, building controls for proper data use and regulatory alignment. You will deliver high-quality compliance services, educate partners, and help identify risk mitigation strategies.

The role involves leading small projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing/implementing training programs to support our privacy program and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, business or government regulations/compliance or equivalent work experience.
• Deep knowledge and experience in privacy compliance and proper data use.
• Ability to research, interpret and analyze complex laws and translate them into practical business solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assess and monitor programs related to ethics/compliance; identify risks and opportunities.
• Perform complex compliance reviews and policy/procedure reviews for clarity and regulatory alignment.
• Provide technical analysis of existing and pending legislative activities.
• Review products, marketing materials and processes for compliance.
• Prepare regulatory filings and forms to meet business needs and regulatory requirements across states.
