Job summary

Truist is seeking an Information Security Consultant to partner with leadership on privacy, cybersecurity, and data protection initiatives. The role blends information security expertise with program management and incident response coordination in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will engage with executives, support complex data incidents, and provide hands-on assistance with security tools, data analysis, and operational processes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in information security.
• Experience with threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
• Familiarity with privacy laws, regulatory compliance, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner for Privacy, Cybersecurity, Information Security, and Data Protection initiatives.
• Manage information security programs and projects to align with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with executives and stakeholders to drive security initiatives and incident response.
