Job summary

TruStage seeks a senior privacy program compliance leader to mature our privacy program and advise on data use and records management across the enterprise. You will partner with Compliance leadership to drive strategic initiatives and oversee complex privacy projects.

You will guide business, technology and data teams, applying privacy-by-design principles, and help shape regulatory responses, including California privacy obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in privacy compliance, records and information management, regulatory compliance, risk management or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and enhancing privacy compliance programs.
• Experience supporting California privacy compliance programs and regulatory implementation.
• Leadership experience with mentorship and cross-functional influence.
• Deep knowledge of privacy laws, data use requirements and information governance principles.
• Strong understanding of records and information management practices and controls.
• Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics and technology solutions to improve compliance program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Compliance leadership to mature Privacy program capabilities, processes and strategic initiatives.
• Lead complex privacy initiatives and drive execution of program priorities across the enterprise.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy compliance, data use, records management and emerging regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on California privacy compliance obligations, including program execution, monitoring, reporting, notice management and regulatory changes.
• Provide informal leadership, coaching, mentorship to team and partners.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities and propose improvements.
• Consult with business, technology and data teams to design compliant, practical solutions.
• Drive innovation with automation, AI, analytics and technology-enabled compliance solutions.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, reporting, metrics and governance activities.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to interpret and operationalize new laws and industry expectations.
• Influence enterprise decision-making through consultation and relationship management.
• Deliver training and awareness initiatives related to privacy and compliance.
