Job summary

Sonepar is seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst to prepare pricing data, load new pricing, and maintain data integrity.

This role partners with Corporate Purchasing, Service Center Leaders, Operations Managers, Account Managers, and AP to ensure excellence in pricing and service for customers. The ideal candidate will analyze financial data, generate reports, and support pricing decisions to maximize revenue and margins within a busy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pricing, cost, and revenue analysis for a distribution business.
• Strong ability to generate and interpret reports and projections.
• Proven track record of data accuracy and integrity in pricing systems.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in pricing model development to maximize margins.
• Generate routine reports and ad hoc analyses for pricing decisions.
• Identify strategic customers/products to adjust pricing for higher margins.
• Coordinate electronic price updates for cost and sell conditions.
• Load pricing data and verify accuracy across systems.
• Maintain branch and customer-specific pricing.
• Perform system material, cost, and sell price maintenance.
• Analyze market conditions to project pricing and monitor changes.
